Article: Hello Fellow Explorer! My name is Michele and I have been using and teaching the Avatar tools since 1998. When I first discovered Avatar, I was reading many different self-help books and learning about the concept that my beliefs create my reality. I understood the theory, but I had difficulty using my knowledge to make any significant, lasting changes in my life. I have a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering so my mind really likes to understand how things work. I didn't realize that was part of my problem... I was allowing my mind to run my life. When I was introduced to Avatar, I was told that the Avatar training would help me put my knowledge into practice so that I could make the lasting, meaningful and profound changes that I wanted to make. I learned how to easily quiet my mind and strengthen my ability to perceive the present moment without translating everything through my mind. This method was much more powerful and effective than any meditation technique that I know of. One of the biggest realizations I had along the way was, I am not my mind!! One of the most powerful turning points along my Avatar path was discovering I was living through a set of beliefs I would summarize as "It's not okay to be the way I am." When I realized I was unconsciously living through these beliefs, my life experiences of wanting to be anyone else but me and all the resitance and suffering I experienced being myself suddenly made sense! The best part of this story is that I used the Avatar tools to change these beliefs. Now I feel empowered to really be me and share my life and talents with the world to help create positive change for all! I am showing up in my life and loving it!! Although we all have different life stories and experiences, I suspect many of us are unknowingly living through similar beliefs of "It's not okay to be me." I am dedicated to helping those who want to wake up to their unconscious sabotaging beliefs to use the tools so we can all live from our authentic selves in this present moment, powerfully creating peace and prosperity in our lives as we contribute to the creation of an Enlightened Planetary Civilization®!
