Article: I came to Avatar by a long round about route. I took the first part of the course in 1995 in my Master's living room. I started the second part of the course but never finished due to illness. After a long recovery period, Avatar was only a dim memory. It wasn't until 13 years later when I came across my copy of "Living Deliberately" by Harry Palmer, that my interest was renewed and I took the rest of the course. Along the way, I found that even though I had never finished the course, my life had been changed by what I did take. For years, people had sought me out as a mentor and teacher, and I was often asked to head organizations to which I belonged. All without seeking the recognition. My conclusion - Avatar changes lives.
